Step 1:
The gemstone is selected by
examining its color, clarity, shape and measurements. It's
measurements are then submitted to the designer who must use
the gemstone's specifications as a guidline when creating
the artist's concept.

Step
2:
The jewelry designer then draws
a rough sketch of the jewelry creation. The designer may do
many different rough drawings before the creation's
concept reaches final approval.

Step 3:
The jewelry designer then does a
full color mock up of the jewelry creation which is called
the 'rendering'. Once the color rendering is approved, the
design team then incorporates all of the design
specifications and measurements into the rendering. The
manufacturing department cannot proceed with the creation of
the finished piece until the entire rendering process has
passed final approval.

Step
4:
Using the color rendering to
scale, the goldsmith will then manufacture the jewelry
creation. The jewelry is hand crafted and must meet all of
the design specifications before being polished and passing
final production approval.
